Basin primary production integrated over the upper 100 m [g C m^-2 d^-1] and settling flux of particulate carbon [g C m^-2 d^-1] at four depths.

Samples for the second trap deployment (May – November 1996) were lost as the traps clogged after deployment. This was caused by a plankton bloom in May 1996 which had the highest primary productivity measured during those four years.
